This French toast turned out the best I ever made! I don't know if it's what I mixed up, the bread I used, how I cooked it or what, but YUM!
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons vanilla
8 eggs, beaten
2 cups milk
2 tablespoons cinnamon
Whisk together everything but the bread. Dip each slice of bread in the mixture, cook on oiled pan over medium heat until browned on one side, flip and cook on the other side.
I had a side of bacon. I put a pat of butter on the toast and that's all it needed, it was just sweet enough to not need syrup or powdered sugar.
I'm glad I made a big batch and froze them. I bet they don't last long, though.
