I had some leftover mashed potatoes and was determined to figure out how to make some potato bread in the bread machine with it. After searching around and finding a lot of what I didn't want to do, I found this recipe and knew it would work for me . . .
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup mashed potatoes
2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons sugar
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons yeast
Throw all the ingredients in your bread machine in the order specified by your specific machine, turn it on and go! That's it! No work, no hassle.
It came out like one big dinner roll....mmmmm.....it's so yummy!
