I thought for sure I had photos of my Garlic Wheat Bread, but can't find any? Here's the only one I could come up with from an earlier post:
I made the Garlic Wheat Bread in the bread machine. I strayed from a recipe in a bread machine cookbook:
for a 2 pound loaf--
3 tablespoons minced garlic
1 1/2 cups water
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 cups bread flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons quick active yeast
Place all ingredients except garlic in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Add garlic at the raisin/nut signal. Select basic/white cycle. Use medium or light crust color.
What I did differently was I didn't read the recipe all the way through (I know--bad!) and I put the garlic in with the rest of the ingredients. I also am trying to eat a little more healthy and I substituted half the flour with wheat flour.
It came out okay and made a very yummy Cheesy Garlic Bread.
