Just have to plan about 2 hours ahead. I do this for almost all frozen vegetables I serve the toddlers for lunch. I have several mini crock pots. I use one for veggie, one for main dish, and others if I need to for another side dish.
Put the desired amount of frozen vegetable in a mini crock pot, add a couple of tablespoons of water, cover and heat for about 2 hours (depends on your crock pot and how much vegetables you are heating. By lunch, the vegetable is thawed and heated through.
You could add ingredients like a bit of butter, seasoned salt, soy sauce or however you would like to flavor your veggies.
This is a good tip if you are feeding a lot of people like during the holidays. You could heat veggies in a side crock pot and not take up valuable stove space.

That is a great tip! I have been meaning to get some mini CPs, too! I'm following you now, love your blog!
That is really great tip! I never thought about making veggies in the crock pot. I will have to invest in a small one. I only have big ones. But I could probably get away with just keeping it on warm for a couple hours. Love the tip!
Great idea!! I will remember this during the holidays...thanks for bringing it to Simple Saturday :)
