Kid Friendly Orange Chicken

I'm not sure where I found this recipe? It's very simple and yummy.

1 to 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    12 oz. can orange soda
    1/2 cup soy sauce
    1 tsp. onion powder
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. ground ginger

Place chicken in crock pot. I prefer my chicken cut into bit-sized pieces, so I cut the chicken up before I put it in the crock pot. Combine orange soda, soy sauce and spices in medium bowl. Pour over chicken. Cover; cook on low 5 to 6 hours. Serve over rice or chow mien noodles.

My favorite way to have this is over Ramen noodles minus the seasoning packet.

When I made the above, I had about three servings. I ate one right away, put one serving of the chicken and orange mixture in my fridge for later in the week, and one serving in a Ziploc container and in the freezer. As usual, I will put the leftover servings in my mini crock pot a few hours before I want to eat it to warm it up. If I have leftover rice, I will use that to pour it over, or I will make more Ramen noodles.
